JAMB 2010

Woohooo!! JAMB2010 is ON!

Allen and I have hit the road for our second JAMB trip. Two guys, two bikes and a whole lot of road to rip up. Kamloops, British Columbia to Oregon. Fast bikes, fast women (ok, maybe not) and classic Joel and Allen stupidity.

Our first JAMB trip was an all Canadian adventure and can be seen here. 2010's edition has us crossing our first international border on our bikes exploring America's back roads.

THE TRIP

Overview

My friend Allen and I had such a great time on our JAMB 2009 trip to Vancouver Island that we decided to give it another go in 2010.

We're expanding our horizons a little and are riding down to Washington State. We originally had a long trip into California planned, but I've had some interference from personal commitments, and the trip has been split up into motorcycling and some camping later in the summer.

We'll spend the majority of our time camping camping in Steamboat State Park and Pearrygin State Park near Mount Baker. Our last night will be at a forestry site between Pemberton and Lilloet.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Coulee Dam, wildlife, and amazing great scenery. We have some hiking and caving on the agenda.

The main road we will be on is highway 20. It is the number one rated road in Washington State for motorcyclists. There is a possibility that we will either run into snow or will be riding on a clear, dry road with snowbanks on either side of the road. That's seriously cool!!

These trips are just as much about Allen and I hanging out as they are about riding and doing cool stuff. I suspect this trip won't let me down.

And then we start planning and saving for JAMB 2011...
